Work in progress This site is being rebuilt. The Collab Playground archive is being reassembled — recordings, tabs and project pages are still being added.

About The Collab Playground

The Collab Playground ran from 2021 to 2023. It started with one idea: pick a theme, write the parts, and let musicians around the world record their own piece of it.

How it worked

1. Choose a piece
A project lead arranged the piece and split it into parts — guitar, violin, bass, piano, percussion, voice.
2. Members record their part
Each member recorded against a shared click track and sent the stem back. No studio, no travel, no scheduling.
3. Mix and publish
The stems were assembled into a final mix and released on YouTube with a title card.

Who played

Members came from the UK, Brazil, the United States, France, Spain and elsewhere. Named contributors in the archive include T. Wilson, C. Jordan, V. Islander, James Perretta, Éloi LeBreux, Louise, Paul, Spencer, Yannick, Kyle, Lucas, Saul, Isaac, Jone and Truman.

Why this site exists

The original tabs website went offline. Fans kept asking for scores in the YouTube comments. This archive puts the recordings and the sheet music back where they belong.
